Bot Wars

Well, I have this word press blog wide open and no bots still. Heck anybody can post but I guess to keep people away, take away the challenge to posting.

Here at this site, if you post, you can post a link to your site for google juice.

I have a feeling once one bot find this place all hell will break loose. Also be adviced that the bots care not if they are offensive or perverted.

I will try to ad category safe posting spots later, but for now who cares, use this for a guestbook or whatever. Post a link to your site, tell me what you think about bots.

Ok, I have this up and running and wondering when my first bot or post will happen. As far as I know, I have ablolutely no blocking to posts. Anyone can post, bot or otherwise.

Seems the more I lock a forum down, the more it calls to the bots to post.

So recently I had the opportunity to try a bot posting software. The bot name was trackback spyder and trackback poster. To me it seemed like alot of work to get a few links and backlinks.

Thus this experiment. Let the bots post. Give them a section to post in, and then see what happens. I have another reason for this blog and the bot test, which has to do with google and SEO. You will have to come back here to see if I reveal the secret here, or at my forum at Free Helpings
